Yes I don’t think it has to be a certain make of alarm, just the fact that an approved installer fitted it. Different companies probably prefer different make systems to each other. I might be wrong but I don’t think an insurance company can insist you have a paid for monitored alarm. I don’t think they can even insist you have an alarm fitted?
