The trail is 2km in length and the route is easy and accessible on level, surfaced ground. It is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

How much does Dalby Forest cost?

It costs £7 per car for admission (£4 after 4pm), which I am aware some people complain about – however I just consider this a contribution to the running and upkeep of such a lovely place. I would defiantly recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Do you have to pay to enter Dalby Forest?

Dalby Forest is 2 miles northeast of Thornton le Dale, and can also be reached via the A169 Pickering to Whitby road. Look out for the brown tourist signs. Please note – admission by car to Dalby Forest is via a toll road, but it’s free for cyclists and walkers.
