Two Case Teams Win First Place

Two Moore School case teams recently won first place in international case competitions. The graduate case team (pictured left) won first place and $10,000 at the John Molson MBA International Case Competition in Montreal, Canada, and the undergraduate case team won first place at the Royal Roads University Case Competition in Victoria, Canada. Three Moore School Students Join Business Incubator

Three businesses started by Moore School students were chosen to participate in the student business incubator entrepreneurship program, which aims to foster the growth of student businesses at the USC/Columbia Technology Incubator (USCCTI). The USCCTI committee selected outstanding business plans from undergraduate students Sam Pettee and Haley Keisler and graduate student Brennen Gerards.


Andrew Schwark Presents at National Conference for Undergrad Research

Senior international business student Andy Schwark was selected to present at the National Conference of Undergraduate Research (NCUR) this April, hosted by the University of Wisconsin. Schwark is the first Moore School student to earn this prestigious honor.


Two Moore School Students Selected as Magellan Scholars

Two Moore School students, Emily Hartley and Brian Blasser, have been selected as USC Magellan Scholars for 2009. Magellan Scholarships are awarded by the University each spring and fall, and were "created to enrich the academic experience of USC's undergraduates through research opportunities in all disciplines." Each student has received $3,000 to fund research projects.
