| Darla Moore (BA '75) cares deeply about her home state of South Carolina and is working earnestly to improve its economic competitive standing. To Ms. Moore, the success of South Carolina depends largely on the quality of its public education. So in 2004, Ms. Moore gave her namesake, The Darla Moore School of Business, an additional $45 million, a gift she challenged the school to match by August 3, 2009. The clock is ticking. . . |
