Tracking our Progress – Building Upon the Rock
In January, the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation launched a dedicated web site to support the efforts of Building Upon the Rock: Preserving Our Future, the Fraternity’s capital campaign. The web site was created to keep members informed of the progress toward our $14 million goal and to serve as a clearinghouse for campaign information.
The site explains our fundraising goals, includes testimonials from Brothers who have invested and benefited, and provides giving options and naming opportunities for donors. There is also a bar graph on each page |

An inspiring video further emphasizes the importance of the campaign in preserving the legacy of Sigma Nu. It looks at our Fraternity’s rich past, where we are headed as an organization, goals for the future, and how Building Upon the Rock fits into this overall vision.
The video also provides details on how campaign funds will be invested. The $14 million will be comprised of $5 million for the LEAD Program, $6 million for housing and scholarships, $2 million for General Operations, and $1 million for Historical Preservation of Sigma Nu Headquarters.
Every gift from every member will help us reach our campaign goals. Your contribution will be used to impact the lives of thousands of young men on a personal level as the Fraternity strives to expand its leadership and training initiatives in order to Build Upon the Rock.
