Awarding $100,000 in Student Aid

Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation is excited to announce that more than $100,000 is available through this year's scholarship program. To streamline the process for students, we have moved to an online application available at www.sam.org. These scholarships would not be possible without the generous support from more than 100 alumni who have endowed these funds.

Recently, L. Mark Newman, Michigan State '62, shared why he and his family support the Foundation. "I give to Sigma Alpha Mu because they are incredibly efficient – the funds donated hit the recipients. That is an important part of how I decide which charities to support."

He went on to say, "I believe that if you are fortunate to have worked hard and made some success – you are obligated, morally and ethically, to give back. My family decided to establish a scholarship fund in Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation."

Thanks to Mark, and others who share his belief of giving back, students on campuses across North America will be better positioned to be successful this year.

There is a growing need for student financial aid. For more information about endowed programs and scholarships contact Foundation Executive Vice President Aaron Girson at 317-846-0689.
